Building divided into pub and restaurant halves with bar in the middle. Limits space but makes for a friendly atmosphere. Ales changed from time to time but only Taylor's Landlord when we

Loved my visit to the Plume, Alex was an absolutely amazing host, the world really does need more people like her. I will be back every time I'm in Hungerford.

What a gem! The staff were outstanding - friendly and accommodating; the best customer service experience I've had in a very long time. Fantastic menu, varied and caters well for all tastes and dietary requirements. Lovely personal and relaxed atmosphere in a very nice space. Very highly recommend!

First time visit to The Plume. Not to be repeated I’m afraid. The food was incredibly disappointing. Where did they source those dreadful prawns for the starter ! Like little bits of rubber. Salmon overcooked. A very scrappy roast beef main . At no time did a member of staff check that all was well with our meals. It was most definitely a disappointing experience.

On a wonder around Hungerford we decided to stop for lunch. What a great find! Very friendly staff, excellent customer service. Great choice of menu , specials board , and sandwiches available. Nice beer and wine. Food was served to a high standard, and all our meals were beautifully cooked. Definitely recommend stopping here and we will return. Looks like a good local too!

We stopped here for lunch before having a walk around the town and canal. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and it's dog friendly. It's a pub of two halves - one side for drinking, playing pool and watching the TV and the other half for dining. My husband had the gammon and I had the rump steak which was cooked to perfection. Both came with a fried egg which was also cooked perfectly - I hate runny egg white - but there was none to be seen. We both agreed that we could easily eat our meals again as they were so, so good. We would definitely recommend this pub and look forward to visiting Hungerford again.

Friendly staff. Ok for a drink but was mortified having ordered Tapas for 3 to be given 1 slice of white bread, toasted, and cut into 4 triangles. Between 3 !!!. No idea . Won’t be doing that again .My husband and spoke to them and sadly just got the usual ‘oh sorry’.

Cute little bar/restaurant. Food was just okay but one member of staff who I believe was called Alex was absolutely brilliant, really helpful, funny and professional. Hope she has a long career in hospitality because she’s absolutely brilliant

Met a good friend here half way between out homes. Had a great 2 hours dog walk then needed somewhere dog-friendly to eat. Despite the Plume being extremely well decorated etc, they welcome dogs! I had a delightful fish and chips and it came out really quickly. Would recommend to anyone. Thank you to all.
