Popped in for food on way between London and Bristol. Squash and sweet potato tagine delicious, followed by sticky toffee pudding with icecream- also great. They add auto 10 percent service charge to bill which is cheeky as pay as you are ordering (at bar before you have tasted anything). I initially asked them to remove tip but was happy to pay on dessert as food was delicious. This was definitely for the food quality and not the table service which was pretty much non-existent....read full review
Great hotel in hungerford rooms are good only thing was I booked a double room and got a twin otherwise very good same hotel group that owns the Jamaica inn. Stay a night you wont regret it.Nearby activities: Great for shopping for antiques and train station less than 5 minutes walk.
Just locates at the centre of the town, we stay for 3 nights and had dinner for the Christmas eve. Lovely meals. The breakfasts are great and very tasty. The rooms are good but quite loud when the fire doors shut.Rooms: Rooms are clean and tidy and newly refurbished. Only one problem that you can hear the fireworks shut very heavily when you sleep
