We visited at the weekend as a party of 14 to celebrate my Stepson's birthday and recent engagement. Our food had been pre-ordered due to the size of the party and all of our food was served together and was lovely, if not huge portions. I had the prawn cocktail starter (complete with smoked salmon and avocado) and I've never seen so many breaded mushrooms on a starter. Italian restaurant that does not serve Pizza. So they serve a lot of home cooking which is very nice. Our group enjoyed their meals. No menu online though. House White £16.90 a bottle. Starters are very big, friends liked the Whitebait. Lasagne was very nice. Desserts were good as well. Budget around £42 per person for a meal and drinks.
My wife & I have been going to The Valle D’oro Restaurant for many years. The first time was when we were girlfriend/boyfriend. As our children grew up, we would take them to celebrate various birthdays and special occasions etc. But for no real reason we did not visit for about ten years +. It was during the pandemic and the “Eat out to help out” that we went there for a lunch.
