Unique, amazing, and full of tradition.I personally think this place is one of the highlights of Reading town if you are after some truly local and exceptionally tasty examples of British cuisine. Once you're inside this family run business - it feels like you are time travelling a few decades back where things were made to last and people always cared for others - Great atmosphere. This business supports local farmers and brewers for the past 40 years which is visible by experiencing the quality of their products and service - Supporting the local community. Excellent selection of pies and other foods - I'm a massive fan of their steak and stilton pie, scotch eggs, and a gala pie - watery mouth even thinking about it - excellent skills. Thank you for always being nice to your customers and for your tasty food. Please stay forever. Thank you

so if this is the same place, my dad used to bring me and my brother, his weekend, I would get this burger with this magic tomato relish type stuff that I still think of today. this was back in 79,80.I'm in Pensacola Florida, at a yard sale, and I came across this tea towel from the British library .
