The best meal we’ve had in Reading. Every dish we had was excellent - the goat curry was fantastic, as well as the lamb cutlets. Lovely, convivial atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Fun party and foodie experience!! We had a very tasty lunch, just the right amount of food, friendly service, nice decor. Good vibes all around!
Firstly, I’d like to say the food was lovely as were the drinks, A taste experience! The pricing was also very reasonable. We did have a debate though whether to pay the service charge. The food came out in a random order and over a longish period. Two dishes, which were the same, came out over 5mins apart. On top of that, some rather runny prawn curry found its way onto a friends lap. We did pay as the place was really busy and the staff were running around.

Really lovely food and cocktails. The staff were really friendly too. The only negative I was is that it was really hard to get anyone's attention to order more drinks, we were trying to order some coktails for about half an hour without managing to get anyones attention.

We were warmly welcomed and then Chetan talked us through the menu, which I really appreciated - being new to Sri Lankan cuisine. We were recommended a balanced variety of delicious and authentic foods. I strongly recommend The Coconut Tree. A great experience.

As a half-Sri Lankan uni student who can’t cook Sri Lankan food herself, the food here really hit home! The curry and roti was great (don’t tell my Sri Lankan mother that I betrayed her cooking)! I will definitely be coming back more often. Also, shout to Chetan who was very attentive and friendly. Bohama sthuthi!
