Sunday lunch a huge disappointment. I cannot understand why the chef and staff would plate up awful roast potatoes for three customers. See photos. I send the complaint through on Sunday 7 Jan 24 and have had no response.

Very disappointed! This has always been our go to place but not anymore!! This is happening too much! We turned up to be seated straight away as it was empty. We come with our two daughters age 11 and 15 after school for a treat, Unfortunately we wish we went else where. When our meals got brought out they got the youngest meal completely wrong, so she had to sit and watch us eat while she waited for hers to be cooked, my burger was raw and blood in the middle and cold. Definitely not flamed grilled like they state it is! The chips was overcooked to the point where you couldnt eat them, they tasted of pure grease!! By the time our daughter got her meal we had all finished ours she was eatting alone! Our drinks we asked for 2 cokes and 2 waters , when we finished these i asked for another 2 refills, to find out on the bill that we was charged double for drinks even tho they was refillable! Check your bills as they are over charging people and this isnt the first time they have done this to us! Unfortunately this isn't the first time this has happened at this restaurant now. This is the 2nd time in a row they have got the order wrong and one of us have had to eat alone which defeats the object as going out as a family. I think its time to look for somewhere else to eat out as a family. I have to say the beefeater has gone down hill! The deals you get seem good but not when your getting small portions and bad food!

My recent visit to Beefeater was marred by a disappointing experience. Tunde, the manager, failed to properly explain the discount offer, insisting on a 4-person rule despite our clear indication of a party of 5. Maria, our server, tried her best to assist, but the miscommunication persisted. The food, specifically a 3-steak sample I ordered cooked medium, arrived with one steak rare. Even after bringing it to their attention, the issue persisted. Additionally, I must note that Tunde's demeanor during our interaction was regrettably rude, further contributing to the negative experience at Beefeater.

Portions have shrunk. Food wasn't piping hot ,only the onion rings were hot because they were forgotton and were cooked after eating our meal for five mins and reminded the waitress.

Food was of a good quality and as described in the menu. Plates were hot and the portions were large. However the service was extremely slow and not to an acceptable standard. Will not be returning in a hurry.

Surprisingly quiet, food was good, service and value excellent. Ales were just at end of life so guessing they do not have the turnover to support the range.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere and really good value for money. The food was nice, well cooked tender steak and delicious chips. Cheerful staff :)

We had a family meal, 2 adults and 3 kids. The children's portions are absolutely tiny. If you have a child over 5, you'll need an adult portion. The adults had Surf and Turf. It was around £22, and again the portion was tiny. The steak was perfectly cooked and the calamari was amazing but it was advertised as coming with chips, a tomato and mushroom and it only came out with a few chips. I'd have happily paid between £15 but definitely not enough food on the plate for £22. We all also had a pudding. It was slightly disappointing because we all came home still hungry.

We were seated promptly, our waitress I think she was called Maria was amazing, I can only eat a tiny, tiny amount, she was happy for us to order gammon steak chips etc and an extra gammon (optional on menu) for me so we could share. Arrived quickly however the portion was nothing like the one on the menu photo, chips much smaller and gammons were very thin and dry, I ate half of my gammon but to be honest I had to cut the back off mine, no mean feat when it’s approx half a centre thick, I didn’t want to complain as my friend dosent like to do that but if I was with someone else I would have. Cant fault our server but food was poor

12 of us went for dinner to celebrate dad’s 80th birthday. We couldn’t have had a better night. The food was lovely, tasty and great value - and there was a lot of it! We didn’t have to wait, but we were not rushed. All the plates arrived within seconds of each other. The staff were exceptional the whole evening. A special shout out to Chloe who looked after us all evening, as well as plenty of other tables and who led the singing of ‘Happy Birthday’. My dad had a great time - thank you. Thank you Chloe.
