We had a really fabulous lunch in the conservatory served by the lovely Toni, the menu is varied and has some good vegetarian options too, the chilli was made with shredded beef and was really tasty
Lucky enough to have another roast at The Village Inn with my husband and a friend. Between us, having all the meats on offer with sides of pigs in blankets and cauliflower cheese to share . Good variety of fresh veg which you help yourself to in the table so can pick and choose what goes on your plate. Another delicious toast cooked by Ash and served by Tilly. Last minute decision and we were served swiftly before the kitchen closed at 6. Plenty of veg and gravy and the beetroot parcel was just perfect and complimented the rest of the veg (and massive Yorkshires). Keep up the good work! Oh and we treated ourselves to a mulled wine - well it’s nearly Christmas ??
