Pubs in Slough

“I stopped in here by chance, what a lucky encounter. Great pub, fantastic food but the main thing was the service. Chloe and Emily - superstars. Please drop in and experience the essence of an ‘inn’.”

“Found this pub after being recommended it by a friend.Had to book a table, but be warned, if you book a late table for Sunday lunch (2pm and kitchen closes at 2.30pm) they may have run out of Sunday roasts! We just missed out on one!The one we had was good though! We need to return...... but earlier!”

“5 stars from us, the food and service we couldn’t fault! Beef and Ale Pie was delicious, as was the Bangers and Mash. Do yourself a favour and go there”

“Friendly and homely country pub. We both had burgers which were very tasty with a good portion of fries and coleslaw. Linen napkins and efficient service. Thank you.”

“Service on a match day was very slow but I’m not sure they anticipated large crowds. I’m sure on a non match day it’s fine. The bar staff are certainly aware of who is next etc. A round of drinks was very cheap.”

“What an incredible tasting experience. We popped in on our way home. It is a lovely little pub with a farm shop out the back. Different quirky places to sit and a great deal.on 2 courses if you book in advance. The food was to die for. My favourite dish was the mushrooms on toast with mushroom ketchup. Portion sizes are very reasonable and we had to ask for a takeaway box. It is on the expensive side for us (4 adults, 2 courses each cost £175 including tip) but all our dishes were well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Wth this quality and level of detail, it was worth the price.”
