A proper country pub in a lovely Bucks village. Great food and a great choice of ales. We sat by the open fire enjoying a few pints and some food this afternoon. Perfect.

Can't remember the last time I went to a pub with 2 bars! Very nice place.

A great selection of beers in a classic English country pub. It is clear why it has won so many awards! A homely and comfortable interior with warm fires and great

Found this pub after being recommended it by a friend.Had to book a table, but be warned, if you book a late table for Sunday lunch (2pm and kitchen closes at 2.30pm) they may have run out of Sunday roasts! We just missed out on one!The one we had was good though! We need to return...... but earlier!

Not sure I can think of a better pub in the area. Amazing rotating selection of cask beers and ciders, a couple of kegs, but best of all, always a warm welcome. And if you’re lucky enough to be here for cheese night you can die a happy man / woman!

Really nice old authentic family own pub, with a lot of great beer straight from the barrels. And with a beautiful garden.

We arrived at 12:10 and there was already lots of cars parked along the village to have the chance of getting a meal here. Simple, healthy beautiful looking food and a great range of beers impressed me very much. I will definitely be coming back for more another day!
Lovely, proper old pub. Great food and wonderful outside flower display.

Ace pub, great vibes, nice atmosphere, we always have great fun during the yearly Wasail. Also the hanging baskets on the front of the pub in the summer time, really impart a welcoming visual, really adds to the cosy comfort of the place. 100% recommended, really great place, just perfect after a hard few hours at our allotment!

Been here a couple of times–the first by chance, the second on purpose with a beer lover in tow. I knew he’d like it. It’s one of those proper ale pubs with a menu of interesting beers chalked up on a blackboard. And it seems to have won various awards. It’s a beautiful, small, traditional cottage pub with two cosy bar rooms and a hatch where you order your drinks. First time I visited, it was summer, and I sat outside in the pretty garden that climbs up a slope. They serve a lunch buffet of quality cold food, and I had a lovely piece of cheese-potato-and-chive pie with salad and slaw Everything I’ve drunk here was very well kept. I sampled a variety of what they offer, including dark beers and ciders. Not one dud. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and proud of what they do. Pubs like this are rare and to be treasured. If you like good ale or quaint country pubs, the White Horse should be right up your street.

A country pub cosy and full of atmosphere, with friendly service. I had Sunday roast beef - very good meat, although barely warm, excellent Yorkshire pudding and potatoes, but overkill on green vegetables! I suggest at least one less and slightly more cooked - and a larger warmer plate. However still much to enjoy and very reasonable at £11.50.
Rare and unspoilt.
