Despite a rather grand name, this is basically a standard cafe, serving regular meals at regular prices. Which it does very well. Looks small from the outside but is roomy inside, with plush vinyl booths and waitress service. Very good waitress too--dyed blonde hair, early 50s. Nothing too much trouble. Cuppa was average. When I first saw the menu, I thought it was a bit pricey but I'd give it a go. The extra couple of pounds you spend on a breakfast are well worth it. Honestly one of the best cafes I've been to.

Street parking is there but frequently occupied. 9 free spaces close by but also could be occupied. A paid parking lot is a cross the road via a pedestrian crossing
