Christmas Dinner was not as tasty as the last time we came here. All felt rush and like they cut corners. I was disappointed which is a first for Toby's.I still enjoyed myself but I think that had more to do with who I was with. Dessert was good and the starters was

It must have been the worst roast dinner I have ever tried to eat.Meat just left dry and far from moist, roast potatoes re cookedVeg is cold and wilting, not much to say on a positive note. Will not be going back anytime soon.....

Wendy was great from the moment we booked. Kept in touch via phone and email. Our waitress on the day was also very good. Excellent service. It was Christmas Day and well worth the £66 for a three course meal.Parking: Never been an issue

Delicious Christmas Day lunch, Wendy is a credit to your company making sure everything ran smoothly and it reflected in the food, service and atmosphere. Thats not to say the others didn't contribute, as everyone worked hard. And the best bit for me is no washing pots and pans after. Bring on next Christmas.

My best friend & I called in to this Toby Carvery for breakfast having left home in Devon at 3am, driven up to London for 2 jobs, the first in Kensington, then on to Harrow. We checked on Google maps for somewhere to get breakfast near the M4 on our return journey & found this place less than half a mile from junction 5, which made it quick & easy to get to. ?? So we'll remember this place for future use.We both had the All you can eat breakfast which was great for only £8 each. There was lots of bacon & good quality sausages, I also liked the button mushrooms which were firm, not squidgy. We had a couple of cups of coffee each then we were all set for the day.We were surprised how busy it was at about 9:30am but it was a Friday morning just 3 days before Christmas so there were several people who were obviously work colleagues getting together for a last working day, pre Christmas breakfast & families starting their holiday weekend. To add to the Christmas spirit the venue had decorations up & the staff were wearing Christmas jumpers & hats. ?? There was Father Christmas sat at a table welcoming children, ringing his bell & saying " Yo ho ho, Merry Christmas". ???

A long time writing this but approximately 10 yrs ago we visited with a lovely friend that alas is no longer with us...you never can know how precious the time is with some until it is gone. We ate on a Sunday and as non meat eater I still rate the cauliflower cheese as the best ever...had three helpings and still trying to replicate it...can't pass cauliflower in the supermarket without remembering and salivating! Live very far away, but the powerful emotional attachment is still there...

Food was okay. Good carvery but nothing special.Service was very poor. Drinks order was forgotten about. Reminded once, and still no effort to get the drinks. Finally we cancelled the drinks order out of frustration as we were almost finished with the meal. In addition, she served the wrong desserts twice. To be fair, they removed the incorrect items from the meal. However, serving food with wrong ingredients can at other times have more severe consequences such as allergic reactions. They need to be more careful and generally switched on with service and recording customer orders.

Never been to one before, the food was good, plus total was about £67 for 2 courses each, decent bottle of Spanish merlot and 2 mini prosecco bottles, so the cost for food was very low, plus you could keep returning for more veg which were pretty decent. Their roast potatoes were really good and I had a little of pork, gammon, turkey, beef and lamb! BUT never seen so many overweight people piling so much food on a plate, the blobby couple next to us paid £1.99 for the larger size plate and piled it high. They weren't eating a meal they were gorging food which had to be lubricated now and then with returns to the gravy station. What are so many people doing to their bodies?????

I recently visited Toby Carvery with my children and it was an outstanding experience! The food was absolutely delicious, especially the juicy roasts and the variety of mouthwatering sides. The service was exceptional, with friendly staff who made us feel welcome and attended to our needs promptly. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect place to enjoy a hearty meal with family and friends. I highly recommend Toby Carvery for anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. You won't be disappointed!

Food was lovely however service was poor. We were seated for 40 minutes before our food order was taken after being continuously ignored by the servers when trying to gain their attention. When they finally came over we got no apology or even a greeting from the waitress. And each time we requested something e.g the bill she failed to follow through without being prompted multiple times. Understandable if they were rushed off their feet but it was fairly quiet. The staff at the carvery serving station were a lot more welcoming however.

Good place with a very pleasant atmosphere and really friendly staff. Has a variety of food options available from morning breakfast, main courses, carvery, and cocktails at affordable prices. Best location and easily accessible from M4 - it's based adjacent to Travel Lodge right opposite the Marriot Hotel. Free car parking available. Must try this place!!! ?Vegetarian options: Plenty of roast vegetables available from the carvery.Parking: On arrival, key your registration plate inside Toby's yo avoid parking fine.Kid-friendliness: Meals available for kidsWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair access is available on the ground level.

Me and the ladies went out for our Christmas lunch , the restaurants wasn't very busy there was not atmosphere. At first the service was good was offered drinks took a little time before starters order to be taken and even longer for them to be brought out , not a good start. We then was waiting ages till I had to call someone over to ask about the mains and the starter plates were still on the table no sorry . Carvery OK meat nice veg and potatos OK. When then had to what another age and had to call again for someone to come and clear the plates and she asked if we wanted the bill NO we ordered a 3 course not 2 as we said at the beginning it felt like she was trying to get rid of us . She went off to get her tablet to take the order and when she came back we was greeted with what do you want . Not great it then took so long to come out that it felt like they was churning the ice cream . When the desserts turned up the waitress brought them over she also brought over the bill and placed it on the table not that we had asked for it and we had not finished or even started our desserts or had coffee. We then said we would like coffee one made with decaf coffee the look on her face anyone would have thought I asked her to invent decaf coffee . Not a great visit would not go back there again
