Absolutely stunning inside and out, it looks like a stately home in every aspect. Dining rooms are very clean and the decoration compliments the essence of the building. It really feels that you are in a very exclusive, members only dining establishment. Nice to be greeted by your name upon arrival before having to confirm myself. We had not booked, but popped in for coffee. The atmosphere and excellent hospitality made it an easy decision to stay longer, so we ordered a meal and spent a lovely afternoon relaxing in the stunning dining room. Thank you to Ronnie and Annmarie who made our visit extra special.

We order the early bird lunch menu. Starter was smoked mackarel with salad. The sauce was very fresh and went very well with the mackarel which is smoky with a strong taste. Main was roasted chicken. Again, I like to sauce - green bean sauce. First time using green bean sauce on chicken. Creamy and tasty. Besides, the historic site is beautiful!
