This was our go to Indian restaurant when we lived in Eton. A family owned business for many years, always a warm welcome and most personal service. We visited Windsor yesterday in our motorhome and walked the short distance over the river to Eton High Street. We had a fabulous meal and the same warm welcome from the owner. They pride themselves on treating every customer the same so you can expect a wonderful experience.Long may they continue.Thank you GC for the years of great food.

Went for my birthday dinner yesterday and Saiful and the team were brilliant.Food was excellent, hot, tasty and great value for money especially the Chicken Tufan and Tandoori King Prawns.Saiful did some amazing table side tricks for us after the mealThe new waiter will be brilliant under saiful and the teams guidance over the next few months.Will be back soon for a take away.Thanks Saiful ?

We ordered a takeaway from Golden Curry on a Sunday. We picked it up in 25mins, and found we'd been given extra starters and poppadoms for free! Food was amazing and we'll definitely be coming back to eat in the restaurant!

The last time I visited Golden Curry was 50 years ago then age 15! It was a regular Friday night treat - with my parents and sisters we would walk to Eton across the park from Slough where we lived. Still owned and managed by the same family, still fantastic food and service! The place to go if you fancy a special dining experience I highly recommend the garlic chicken dish..
Went at 630 on Saturday evening as it was starting to fill up and by the time we left, it really heaving with atmosphere. Had lovely vegetarian thali and Cobra beers. The curries were all very flavoursome and the onion bhaji was huge! Nan was fresh and lovely. We were treated to amazing magic tricks from the in house magician. RECOMMENDED.

We popped in to the restaurant for my mother in laws birthday lunch and had the best time. The service was exemplary very friendly staff, the food was out of this world super fresh and absolutely delicious. extremely good value for money we will be back again soon. A bit of a wait standing in the cold doorway waiting to be seated. Drinks arrived promptly, food shortly afterwards. Delicious and a good temperature. Only draw back for us was the smoozing of one of the staff...doing magic tricks at a table next to us with his bottom constantly knocking our table !! Not enough room in the restaurant for that kind of entertainment...and his booming voice telling the guests how successful he is and how he's got lots of corporate work blah blah blah...just not necessary in my opinion. Would have stayed for a coffee or an extra drink but was asked and frankly we felt uncomfortable looking at his bum whilst waiting !!

Jamie is the most attentive host and makes all guests exceedingly welcome. In addition he is an excellent magician and a member of the magic circle and offers tricks after you have eaten.
