Absolutely fantastic. My expectations are generally not high in super-touristy spots like this but I was thoroughly impressed by the Eaten Cafe. Really lovely place, however the menu needs to state what is in the toppings of the jacket potato. We both ordered the prawns and after a mouthful had to return it as it contained spice which I’m allergic to. This wasn’t mentioned in the menu. There were items on the menu that stated spices, but not for the prawns. Staff happy to replace it with the tuna, lovely food. Next day we were both poorly due to the spices. Would we come again probably but we will avoid the prawns.

Stumbled across the Cafe by accident when looking for some alternative breakfast options. Warm welcome, hot coffee (hooray), excellent hot breakfast, even the baked beans and proper toast. Only upgrade the standard breakfast if you are really hungry. Sensible prices and definitely worth a visit. Support the local independents.
