Had a family dinner at the Duke of Edinburgh and we had a lovely evening. Good simple food and the staff were very good. Recommended.Paid another visit in October 2023 and had another enjoyable lunch. Another lovely lunch in December.
Generally very good but food can be hit and miss. And it's not cheap. 3 starters, 6 mains and 3 desserts plus drinks... £260. Can't justify that I'm afraid.

Sunday lunch was excellent. One of the best pub lunches i have had for a long while. Staff were friendly and efficient. Pub was busy so would recommend booking in advance. Car parking is limited but roadside parking is available.

Try their half shoulder of lamb. It’s really delicious. The personnel is friendly and helpful. The interior is very beautiful with lots of details.Kid-friendliness: There is a kid menu. However, fish fingers were far from perfect.
My son and I visited here last Saturday . We hadn’t booked but we were made very welcome and shown to a seat . There is an excellent choice of food on the menu. I chose the steak pie with mash and peas. It was not only delicious but the serving was huge . We will be returning to the area again next year and will certainly return here for a meal. Thank you to all of the staff.

This place has great food & great service. The staff are delightful, friendly & helpful. You will not be disappointed by the food. The burgers are amazing, the choice is substantial and everything is done with a smile. There is both an indoor & outdoor dining area with the outdoors under heated marquee, as well as a garden. Highly recommended.
