Indian Restaurants in Wokingham

“I would like to say that we have recently moved to Wokingham and we were not sure which Indian restaurant to attend as there is quite a few to choose from. We’re having our kitchen done, so this was the perfect opportunity to try lots of tasty dishes! And tasty they absolutely were!!! We walked into a very warm atmosphere. My husband and I like diff dishes and couldn't decide, so we ordered Lamb Karahi, Lamb Rogan, Saag Paneer and aubergines plus the Garlic Naan and Biriyani. All I can say is the Masala the dishes were cooked in was so delicious with fresh garlic and pieces of ginger my fav over all the dishes and the fresh coriander, was just amazing. I requested little oil and that’s what I got, so many times the dishes are swimming in oil, but this was done with very little oil just like my mum used to make it. Food is balanced not too hot as that can ruin the dish, medium is perfect! Anyway we have not stopped coming here, the owner is so helpful and friendly to us, as-well as the staff. The place is being renovated and when it’s done it will look Fabulous. I’ve even recently ordered lots more dishes as I had family over and agin service was fabulous, on time, lovely fresh food cooked every time time, even on a Sunday when they were closed, they made n exception to come in and cook early for us, so flexible. I would seriously Highly recommend this place, food, service and great traditional dishes, great portions, reasonably priced! Everything we need, and so local to us!
