Had a wonderful meal- was very pleasantly surprised by the delicious starters. Our server was brilliant, knowledgeable and friendly. It is now our new stop off before the spa at Nirvana.

Had dinner in here last week. Place was very quiet for mid week. Just a few tables eating.Service was quite slow. Food was good but we felt a little on the expensive side if you are ordering a curry as rice etc charges all on top. Biryani was very nice and a huge portion.We ordered chips as well which came out a good 10 minutes after our dinner was served and unfortunately they were raw in the middle and had to be returned and refunded.Would I go back ? Maybe if in the area but local curry houses are more reasonable if eating a curry dish. We both agreed if you are ordering a main curry dish like a lamb curry etc a side of rice ( even if small ) should accompany it.I would say that the music was a little loud for the environment and the service was slow and needs to be improved and when presented with the bill with the total on the card machine the tip page was presented to us with the waiter standing over us so we felt obliged to give a small tip despite the chip situation and slow service.Other dishes looked good quality and portion wise they were big.

Have just returned from a lovely, impromptu afternoon with hubby. The staff were friendly and attentive, the restaurant has a good vibe with happy people and the food was excellent, strongly recommend, will be returning soon!

Really lovely place, looking forward to trying the garden and outside bar in the summer. If I had to pick something to be wrong it would be that there was salt on the kids meal, which we wouldn't usually give the kids. But that's just if I had to be picky. The food was delicious. We didn't wait long and the service was great.

We were a group of 10 people visited the place for the first time. Excellent food, great service and great atmosphere. Every one of us enjoyed our time at the PUB. Each one of ordered different items and no one had any complaint. That is very rare. Highly recommend this place.
Well that was a truly spoilt Mother’s Day. We took my aging mother for a nice lunch, turned out to be the lunch from hell. Well over 2 hours waiting for our starters, which were wrong, sent out one at a time. Drinks also incorrect. Staff were unapologetic and rude. We ended up walking out of the pub, a truly wasted day for my dear mum who doesn’t get out much ?. Having read the review below and the response from the restaurant, I can confirm that the member of staff shouted at the top of his voice at a young girl at the till, she was young and wasn’t very polite about the fact they had also been waiting 2 or so hours, but I certainly won’t be taking my family to this establishment to hear this kind of drama. This is definitely beyond doubt THE WORST establishment I have ever eaten in, all my life. 1 hr 45 mins to get starter, 1 of 5. Then fifteen minutes later 1 main course, a roast dinner, cold through, a dribble of gravy. Staff that don’t understand anything walking around aimlessly with food not knowing which table is which. Five or six tables getting angry as they had been waiting 2 hours or more. Then the “acting manager” shouted at my 14 year old daughter. The food was absolute shambles, stay clear of this place

Visited today , pre booked for Mother’s DayVery busy at time of visitService was very slow and often didn’t get what we asked for drinks service prior to meal was very slow and not what we ordered , and when we asked for tap water was a party of 6 we were eventually only given one glass, the 8 year old child got his meal when the majority had finished eating, and one of the main dishes we had ordered was served only after the other dishes had been cleared away we had no choice but to ask for it as a take away, but the rice which accompanied it was served earlier and was cold by the time the main course arrived, one of the main Dishes ordered was delivered along side the starters this was all brought to the attention when the bill was paid , by then it was too late a mothers day experience spoiled by the slow disorganised service with wrong orders and poor service

We attended lunch here for Mother’s Day and did not have a particular pleasant experience. We had booked and was told our table was outside which was fine accept the gas heater they had by our table went out and left us very cold. We asked for it to be looked at and fixed 4 or 5 times before it was finally corrected. It was a busy day and the staff was far too short , we waited a while to order and then waited over an hour for any food. The food was very average. Overall a very subpar experience.Dietary restrictions: They did not have many gluten free options limiting my choices.

Awful experience, ruined Mother’s Day.Walked out after 90 minutes wait and no food. I asked after waiting 30 minutes to take our order and not even receiving a drink in that time whether there would be a delay/long-wait and was totally misled.We were also not attended to during that time, no apologies, no drinks/snacks, no explanation.All surrounding tables had similar 2+ hour waits, no food, missing items, cold and inedible food. Incorrect items, items going to the wrong tables.Avoid at all costs. A total disaster.
