We booked a table to have a family lunch at the George on Christmas eve. Though not everything went according to plan the food was very well cooked and tasty. Our waitress was exceptional at looking after us. Izzy made us very welcome, sorted out issues quickly and without fuss. She pre-empted any complaint and arranged a discount on the bill before we even thought about it. Well done Izzy and thank you.
Dinner with a group of friends to celebrate the festive season (although none of us had the festive menu). Our main waiter was Jack. He was very attentive and professional. Kat took over from him and she was equally as lovely. The food and drink orders taken as required and time for service was fine. Our food was hot and tasty with large portions. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Will certainly visit again.
