I was in Bristol for an event, and googled for a Japanese restaurant to eat before heading out. I timed my arrival well here, got a seat at the window bar and ordered. make sure to reserve before coming because it gets crowded! reservation gets about 1h 15 min of eating time, i got the salmon sashimi don for 15£. salmon slices itself was nice and fresh, though i found there to be too much rice for the amount of salmon given, left with too much plain rice. perhaps offering a teriyaki sauce on the side? gyudon was tasty

Food was okay, visited approx 5pm weekday so perhaps it was early but portion size of chicken in katsu was quite small versus all other past visits. I'll put this as an off-day, hopefully it's back to the usual high standards on a different visit.
