One of the few fish and chips places with a variety of fish, not just cod! Very reasonable prices, most fish £5.50. We ordered plaice, was a little apprehensive at first as many places offer tiny portions but when it came out, it was HUGE. Well worth £8, even more so after trying it: it was delicious. I feel something extra beyond the taste itself.This is not the best fish and chips I have ever eat, but the business behind probably have so much positive energy what I can feel during I consumed my haddock and chips.Maybe an extra touch from the chef, or they look after the quality I don't know, but I can sense this additional positive energy what comes from their food.Go there and try!Prices reasonable, large variety.I think the home made soup worth to try as well!

Best fish and chips I've had in a long time. Spoke to the owner and he told me there had been a fish and chip shop at the same site since the 2nd World War. I had Large Cod and chips - the fish was cooked beautifully and the batter was lovely and crispy. Very nice food, and lovely and friendly staff and owner. Highly recommended.
