Bloody loved it in here. Looks untouched from about the '80s. Great mix of people young and old. Friendly bar staff, 2 pool tables and a darts board. Shame owner is retiring/ selling up. Hopefully new owner retains the character and just spruces it up a bit.
First visit today and very pleased with the cost of drinks,and the menu looks enjoyable and also a reasonable price.There is also two outdoor areas for food and drink.If you are in the Redcliffe area then give it a try ,???
Best hop to it if you want to visit the cheapest pub in Bristol City Centre. It'll be closing soon as the owners are selling up.No real ale but dart boards and pool tables and 2 pints of Jewel nitrokeg less than £7. Kronenbourg just over £4 a pint.Decor is reminiscent of a Butlins from 1989 but toilets are clean and there's a nice view of the church one side and a bit of the harbour the other.I'll be sad to see the place go. It's a lot cheaper than the hotel next door.
