What can I say. Not only the best pub I've been to in Bristol, but probably in my top 10. Decent range of beer at a price you'd expect 10 years ago, quality locals, and the landlady is mint. Sports on the telly, great banter, a range of entertainment and a proper local for local people vibe. Not a food gaff, but the beef and horseradish rolls behind the bar are a meal in themselves. amazing pub even though food isn't normally available (just is due to current circumstance) best for all your sporting needs and the staff are fantastic i will go as far to say it is the best in the area even better then the wackham!!

Good pub good prices nice atmosphere and people. There are not two many drinking pubs left, they are almost all foody, wine, front room types of inns. But this is a good drinking pub.Only down side is the looes are a little smelly and messy.
