Quante pub with idyllic location, family run, eccentric decorations that leave you looking for more qwerky history items, staff were attentive and very welcoming, highly recommended is the belly pork starter, mixed grill and thai sea food curry was outstanding, locals drinking were very polite and welcoming, train carriage seating was comfortable and warmFood & drinks: Excellent food ? ? if you're in the area. It's a must place to visit and highly recommended

I just love this place. Nev and Debbie are hostesses with the mostess! The pub is warm, cosy, quirky, friendly with SO many weird and wonderful items all around to look at. The carriage is beautiful and a really lovely place for a meal out, amazing atmosphere, food was fantastic and good size portions and made a really special evening in a unique environment. Absolutely loved it! The food was incredible. We came as a family of 8 and every one of thoroughly enjoyed our food. I had the chicken and leek pie and asked to swap my chips for mash which they obliged. We also had a few desserts and would highly recommend the creme brulee and cheesecake. The staff were also super helpful and lovely. The pub looks traditional and is dog friendly and the restaurant is a quirky, really lovely train carriage. Will be back!
