Absolutely first class. So many touches, bringing an exceptional experience and delicious. Its the second time we've been and it just gets better. Why this isn't a Michelin star is a mystery to me! Sat outside this time and although rainy evening it was cosy and comfortable. Can't wait to go back.

Browns Beaconsfield

Last minute acknowledgment of my birthday as I wasn’t feeling too great.Few friends came over for a meal in Browns.6 people all had a different dish and we all loved them, food was gorgeous.And as for the service it was just perfect ? The lovely waitress Natalie was so friendly & kind.Even bought out a little treat for my birthday.Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Thankyou all for a great experience

Miller & Carter Beaconsfield

Since my wife is a vegetarian, we had never considered going to a steakhouse for a meal\nOut !\n\nI had a voucher from another restaurant owned by Mitchell and Butler, and as I had always wanted to try Miller and Carter , I checked the website to ensure there was something vegetarian for her to eat, and eventually persuaded my wife to go !\n\nWe had booked up at Beaconsfield,and turned up to be met by Katrina. \n\nThe restaurant is beautifully decorated, nicely laid out and has a lovely ambiance!\n\nHaving shown us to our table ,and aware this was our first visit she took our drinks order , led us though the incredible menu and various offers, told us what was included , and explained that the lettuce wedge and dressing was to help digestion \n\nKatrina couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly !!\n\nQuite simply , this was one of the best steak experiences I have ever had , and not that far behind a very special Fiorentina steak I’d eaten in the mountains of northern Italy !!\n\nThe lettuce wedge I had was with chilli and crispy onions. It was a quarter iceberg lettuce , as fresh as you could possibly get, full of flavour and very refreshing !! \nI couldn’t believe what a lovely course this was , and how it refreshed my palette ! Even my wife was suitably impressed !!!\n\nMy favourite Ribeye was off the menu , but I had the 9 ounce Rump Steak with Bone Marrow Bearnaisse sauce. Rump steak can be disappointing, but this was the most succulent, and tender rump I’ve ever had !! \nThere were no sinews or fatty gristle, and everything I was served was eaten ! I opted for the new potatoes , which were absolutely divine, and along with the beautifully prepared onions , and added side of Tuscan style butternut squash with spinach and Dukkah seeds, lifted the whole meal to another level !!!\n\nMy wife was equally impressed with her SunshinePlant Burger with all the accompaniments, and was complimenting her food and the experience throughout the evening !!\n\nWe finished off with the Coffee and Mini Puddings, which were lovely , and having lovely “Floaters” was a throw back to the past !!\n\nQuite simply it was outstanding from start to finish , and I cannot recommend it highly enough !! I cannot believe we have been missing out on this for the past few years !!\n\nWithout doubt we will be back !!!

Royal Saracens Head

We needed a booking for 18 people at short notice ( we knew only the same morning ) but Kayla was not phased and dealt with everything calmly and confidently. Our party included 4 children, gluten intolerance, vegan and vegetarian requirements but the menu was robust enough to deal with all of these. Kayla was our host for the evening and was very attentive to everything we asked. The food was of a high standard ( if not inexpensive) and served simultaneously which you do not always receive with large parties. \nSpecial merit marks to Kayla - I hope the establishment recognises its valuable members of staff appropriately.

The White Horse

Very welcoming pub with attentive staff. Manager really engaged with his team and customers.
The pub is very nice inside with a lovely warm and welcoming feeling.

Great beers and awesome food. The pie was just amazing! Bar staff knew their beers well and assisted in my choice.

Great pub & garden,
Classics like; steak, Pies, fish & chips are great but stay away from small plates & anything that sounds adventurous. They can’t seem to get those right. Shame!

Just had the most amazing English breakfast here. It was a high-standard experience. The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The restaurant is spotlessly clean! I absolutely enjoyed every moment here! Thank you for such a luxurious experience! ⚘☺

Giggling Squid - Beaconsfield

We always have a great time at Giggling Squid, for food, drinks, and atmosphere. The manager Valentina is attentive and ensures the guests are well looked after. We had an issue a few months back, which she not only rectified but went above and beyond on the main food. Thanks team and Valentina.

Tapori Curry Bar - Beaconsfield Motorway Services

Enjoyed thoroughly - mutton biriyani. Staff was very friendly and knew his customers by the looks of it.

Only shame was that they don’t have sides of curry to order (wanted one with my biriyani) and didn’t want to order another full meal. BUT it was very tasty and moist so didn’t need it in the end anyways. Loved the crunch from the crispier cooked rice too.

Bacchus

My wife and I just had lunch at Bacchus a new Italian restaurant in Beaconsfield. My wife had been their previously with her five girlfriends in the evening and was very impressed, so I thought a lunch there would be nice. It has a cozy feeling to it and I don’t care for large chains and prefer small family run restaurants like Bacchus. My wife and I both started with mussels in white wine sauce, which were plentiful and delicious. My wife had a lasagne for her main course and I chose the seafood pasta which contained linguine, squid, mussels and king prawns in a white wine sauce with a touch of parsley and chilli, both were delicious. I must mention the staff who are warm and charming, mostly Italian, even the chef stopped to ask if everything was okay. I really recommend this restaurant as the food is authentic, delicious snd inexpensive compared to many other local places and the staff add that extra ingredient to make you want to return, which we will.

I had an amazing experience for my father's birthday! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was excellent from start to finish. I ordered the steak, and it was cooked to perfection — juicy, flavorful, and tender, just the way I like it. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients and care about their preparation.\n\nThe sides complemented the meal perfectly, and the presentation was beautiful without being over the top. It’s clear the kitchen knows what they’re doing. Massive complements to Nico, who done the steaks, in front of everybody. He also came by to every table to make sure that everything was alright.\n\nOverall, a great dining experience — delicious food, friendly staff, and a relaxed vibe. I’ll definitely be coming back soon and recommending it to friends!

Jampee Thai Restaurant

Good food and service.

Open on a sunday too. Better than the Giggling squid.

Starters were good. Had chicken satay, tofu and prawn toast. Well presented.

Main course, recommend pork pad pad gaprao and the stir fried dishes. Well made and hit the spot with some steamed rice.

The roti was a little disappointing (from a frozen packet), massaman curry was a little too sweet.

Chicken Pad thai was a bit too sweet but well balanced taste of fish sauce and tamarind.

You can select any meats eg prawn, chicken,beef or tofu with the mains.

This is one of my local pubs and we are very fortunate to have this little gem on our doorstep . Delicious food , good choice of beers and regular live music. Highly recommended

The Beech House

Went for brunch on bank holiday. Serving staff Jack was very polite and so helpful. Food was delicious i had turkish eggs and my partner had ham and cheese panini and my step son has pasta we all enjoyed our food.

Prime Steak & Grill

Was a lovely venue for our anniversary- they were very understanding with our 4 month old, and my husband’s dietary requirements (carnivore diet- only meat eggs and salt/butter).

The staff were professional and left us to it enough so we felt privacy too.

The quality of the food was great, and the crème brûlée delicious!

Main issue would be parking, luckily we managed to park outside, where there’s space for maybe 4/5 cars…and some local car parks a little walk away.

Leigh House

Chinese restaurant serving Beijing (Peking), Szechuan, and Cantonese cuisine. Will be celebrating 40 years this September (2024).

Inconspicuously located in Beaconsfield old town. Hasn’t got the usual large, flashy sign outside. In fact it would be easy to miss!

Similarly inside, it is not littered with cheap Chinese decorations. I’d go as far as saying it looks very high class.

The front of house staff are very attentive, regularly (but not annoyingly often) coming to check if everything is ok or if you need any more food or drinks.

We went there for the Sunday buffet on the August bank holiday weekend. Got there about 1pm. It wasn’t busy at all, but as we were eating a number of people turned up. Talking to the waitress, we were told that Sundays, and the whole weekend in general, is usually very busy.

So booking a table in advance is recommended. If you do it through the website you’ll be directed to a third party site. This site ‘warns’ you that that the Sunday buffet ends at 1.30pm. Ignore that! It’s not true. The buffet is served all day Sunday.

How it works, is that you’re offered a mixed platter of Peking ribs, spring rolls, deep fried vegetables, crispy seaweed, chicken satay skewers, and prawn toast according to the number of people at the table.

Then you get a “tick list” (see photo) where you mark which dishes you’d like to order. So it’s a kind of “a la carte buffet”. Once you’ve finished what you ordered, you can order more, including topping up your starter mixed platter. There’s no limit how much you can order- as long as you eat it all!

We chose Chicken with ginger and spring onion, Crispy chilli beef, Szechuan beef, and Twice cooked pork.

What’s our thoughts?

Definitely much better than your usual Chinese fast food from ‘down the road’.

Yet, perhaps not as good as I had expected.

From the mixed platter the giant spring rolls, seaweed, deep fried vegetables ,and the peking ribs were the best. The prawn toast didn’t really taste of prawns, the satay sauce didn’t even have a hint of peanut flavour.

From main courses: the Chicken with ginger and spring onion tasted of ordinary chicken soup. The Crispy chilli beef was crispy and tasty but I couldn’t tell if there actually was any beef! There was no “chewiness” in the crispy bites.

The Szechuan beef was tender and flavoursome, not overly spicy. I couldn’t see any Szechuan peppers…

The Twice cooked pork was also tender and tasty.

Dessert is also included - deep fried apple and banana with caramel drizzle and ice cream. Pretty bland, to be honest. Disappointing, as I was looking forward to it.

Overall, all the dishes had flavour but there was just that “little something” missing to make it stand out.

Also, typical of many buffet meals, it left us both rather thirsty. I think the idea is to make the dishes a bit saltier (or use MSG?) to make you order more drinks and eat less food = more pofit.

Spice Merchant

This place is fantastic - take your partner, take your mates, take your grandmother’s urn - she wouldn’t want to miss one.

Bashir is one-of-a-kind bossman with a refreshing view of the world and witty insights (not to mention an exceptional singing voice). Shame he’s a United fan!!!

Prelibato

We had our wedding reception meal at Prelibato in the upstairs private room. It was fantastic! The food is delicious, with attentive service throughout. Our guests commented on how good the food and drinks were. The event was run with military precision - we were so impressed. Huge thank you to the team. Highly recommend!

Pizza Express

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Pizza Express in Beaconsfield! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The service was outstanding—every staff member was friendly and attentive, ensuring everything was perfect throughout my meal. The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor, exactly what you’d hope for from a top-quality pizza restaurant.

A special mention to the manager, Nazare, who went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy. She was incredibly polite, professional, and made the whole experience even better. It’s rare to find such extraordinary service these days, but Pizza Express Beaconsfield truly delivers.

The Old Town Friar

I actually love old town friar so much yes the chips can stick to the box but oh my god they are so good. The chicken burger is amazing and the cod is very crispy and perfect Amazing place highly recommend it

Great Pizza, I really like the thin and crispy Romana base. Fantastic service, especially by Alishba who was very good with my father's strange requests ?. Top place would recommend.

Achimi Japanese Beaconsfield

While I did not eat in the restaurant (takeaway), I thoroughly enjoyed the food from Achimi.
As a vegetarian, I found the options fantastic and I was incredibly pleased to have much to explore from the menu.
I ordered the Udon dish, the Yasai Gyoza and a selection of sushi dishes. Beautiful! Excellent quality, delicious and satisfying. Couldn't recommend this restaurant enough for those who love Japanese cuisine.
I cannot comment on the atmosphere of the restaurant, but definitely give this place a go if you're looking for some great food.

Vegetarian options: Varied and delicious options! As someone who adores sushi but has recently become vegetarian, Achimi did not disappoint and I was incredibly pleased to enjoy their selection.

Starbucks Coffee

The staff are always so lovely and helpful, very personable and remember those of us who come in regularly. I always find it clean, quick and well stocked.The only thing that stops me giving it 5 stars is that the air con seems to always be set to "blizzard cold" regardless of the weather. I like to work on my laptop here but always cut it short because of how cold it gets.

LEON Beaconsfield

The order machines weren't working but Edna took my order at the counter and was very helpful and professional.
Lots of choice on the menu, especially good if you want to grab a few little bits to snack on.

The Dove Cafe

Really impressed with The Dove Café. Every single person we met was welcoming, cheerful, and clearly giving up their time just to make sure the community has somewhere special to come together.

The tea was spot on (served properly hot, in a proper tea pot!) and the menu had a great variety, something for everyone. My son enjoyed one of the kids lunchboxes which was full of high quality items and to my amazement was free over the summer holidays through their funding partners.The garden was a hit, full of ride in cars which kept my son entertained and they had a great area inside for younger toddlers to play.

Huge thanks to all the dedicated volunteers who keep this place running.

I pop in The Flying Bean Cafe to grab an energy drink or a coffee when I am travelling to and from London. Jo and Cheryl are always welcoming and their smiles brighten up my day and the service is great.

Met up with my oldest friend. Something we rarely get to do so it was important to find a nice place to meet.
Glad I made a reservation as it is very popular.
Food was perfect, service was great and a nice ambience. Had a lovely time.

Very nice family run cafe serving the local community, but if you are passing, it's just off the A40, worth a visit for coffee, shakes, and more. Cakes, pastries, or build your own sandwich. Inside and outside seating. Dogs are permitted. On-site toilet available.

Sevice was awfull. I have to ask 5 store staffs to pack my spare food. Even the lady manager was not bothering to listen what i was calling. Food was good though, dont know it was fresh or not as i was super hungry from a long drive from Edinburgh. Ambiance was just okay. Clotted and drenched tissues on handwash sink and not a single staff member tried to remove or ckean it. I think nandos have to take action on the service what their staff is providing to their customers in return of high price they are paying for food.

Liliganics

I sampled some Liliganics food at a recent birthday party and was so impressed. Delicious nourishing food made with love. Will definitely be booking her for future events

The Old Tea House

A lovely little tea room with a heartwarming atmosphere and service. The lady was so lovely and the scones were fresh, warm and delicious with high quality jam and clotted cream. The americano was great too, way better than the famous chain shops!
I love this little gem and it was such a pleasure to have had the experience. I will most certainly return on my next trip to Beaconsfield.

Was served by an indubidly elegant worker today, he performed his task with such might and rigour and was an excellent role model of what an employee of WPC should be. I commend him for his excellent customer service and i shall be back in the future.

GAIL's Bakery Beaconsfield

I work in Beaconsfield and visit Gail’s on a regular basis . I particularly love their Soho buns and the salads . I visited today to be greeted by a very friendly smiley young girl. I’ve not seen her before , so maybe she’s new. She was extremely chirpy and very helpful. And wished me a lovely day , as I walked away with my salad . Her big friendly smile definitely put a smile on my face , which I wall take back to my clients :)
