There are half a dozen fish and chips outlets in the wider GX area but we always use this one, it's the best.Parking: Room for a few cars but always a free space.

I really love this deli overlooking the village green. I go there for a takeaway sandwich and coffee whenever I go to my hairdresser nearby. The egg mayo sandwich was made to order whilst I waited and was delicious with a generous amount of filling and very fresh bread. A takeaway coffee (in my own cup) was also really good. Would thoroughly recommend.

So glad we visited for a second time. Our group was four adults and two children. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was delicious and good-sized portions. It was very busy on Saturday night so you will have to book your table. We will definitely be returning, and l will be recommending this restaurant to others.

I've lived in the area a while now and have been to this pub a few times over the years. I've never had a bad experience here and last night was no exception. In fact, we arrived quite late in the evening with a couple of friends, but we were still made to feel more than welcome by the very polite and personable young man behind the bar. This pub is obviously well run and customer service is clearly high on the agenda. Needless to say, we will return. We live in a nearby village, but it's worth the trip, to be treated like a valued customer, in pleasant surroundings.
