5* for service in cafe3* for foodWe had fish and chips, and the batter on the fish was very overcooked, and too much batter for the amount of fish inside.

A lovely little garden centre with a great coffee shop. The cakes were amazing though sadly the coffee was lukewarm and they seemed, at 3.15pm on Saturday, focused on closing early. The gentleman even said " There seems to be a long stream of customers, why do they not go home?". However all the female staff were polite and welcoming as were all the staff in the garden centre itself. We will go again but not in the mid afternoon.

It was a nice surprise to find this garden centre. The staff are very knowledgeable, welcoming and helpful. The coffee shop was delightful and the scones delicious. This is one garden centre I will now visit regularly even though it is a trek from where I live. I go to learn more about gardening, as well as to buy. I am looking forward to the grafting day in February as I want to propagate my apple trees which are nearly 100 years old.

Just received order of 30 hedge Germander. Very healthy looking and obviously packed by someone who cares. Staff on telephone also very helpful.

Came for a look around and cup of tea, canteen food is good but they have changed the seating system now for no reason at all, you have to que to be shown a seat then que again to order, completely pointless, as there is always empty tables. Stop wasting time with this and let your waiter do his/her job

Traveling back from Norfolk to Bristol and stopped in at the Garden Centre for a break. Found a perfect birthday present for a family member and had excellent customer service from Dominic who took the time to carefully to wrap it protectively as we had limited space in the car. He treated us very politely and answered a few questions about the garden centre. Very helpful and a credit to the business. As we say in the west country, proper job ?

I’ve been visiting Buckingham Garden Centre for years and have rarely ever felt the need to complain. Today was extremely disappointing to say the least. My Husband ordered a tuna baguette and a chicken panini for me. Mine was served upside down with 2 burnt chunks of chicken loose on the plate. It looked like a baguette and the top was at best inedible having been dried out completely. I took the plate up to the member of staff who served us and said I’d ordered a panini, he took the plate back to the kitchen. He then bought the plate back to our table, placed it down and simply said, He said “it’s a panini” then walked off before I could respond giving me the impression he couldn’t care less. The burnt pieces of chicken had been removed from the plate I’m not sure how this really makes a difference I’ve never experienced anything quite like it and I’m sad to say it’s unlikely I’ll bother again. £7.95 for something barely edible, not a good look. The filling was not coronation chicken. It was chicken mixed with mayo and curry powder. The marginal pond plants however were beautiful so not all bad.

Well stocked and especially good for 9cm pots of plants to grow on in Spring, also great for a range of bare root roses in season. Good value herbaceous perennials. All you need in garden sundries and everything else to make a garden grow!Lots of healthy house plants and things you never knew you needed.Excellent cafe, good menu, especially if visiting the nursery in the morning, and you don't have a hearty appetite, they do a great smaller breakfast.Staff always pleasant. It can get busy at peak times so get in early!
