Food was pretty good - a variety of meals available including a great fish and chips and BBQ chicken wings. The bartender was really friendly and catered to our needs. The atmosphere was great - lots of locals in enjoying pints and chatting away to eachother. Also dog friendly. Would recommend!

This was an unexpected delight. We'd been on a hike and finished here at an old pub looking a bit run down. However inside the greeting was excellent, friendly but not intrusive. Great menu and a decent price. We opted for mains and puds with soft drinks and didn't go over £45. Really tasty and good portions.Small gripe: Toilet area needs a deeper clean as the skirting boards haven't been touched in what must be weeks...let's down an otherwise tip top establishment.
Food eas excellent, lacked a little atmosphere made for by great group of

We booked in for Christmas Day dinner and it couldn’t have been a nicer experience, from the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and welcoming, the food was first class and we weren’t rushed, there was even a game of bingo in between. The price was very competitive and I’m hoping we can get in next year but once word gets out how good it is we might struggle. Thanks to everyone who made out Christmas Day a very enjoyable experience

Had a great meal here last night. The salt and pepper squid, steak pie and cheesecake were all fantastic. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

We vissted for Sunday lunch. The staff were so friendly, we didn't like the table we were offered and ask to move, this was not an issue and we were moved straight away. The food was hot and flavoursome. This is by far the best rosdt dinner I have had in ages. Can't wait to go back.
