Spent two cracking evenings here based on the Google review site and it didn't disappoint. Good beer, great atmosphere, friendly staff and clientele.Well worth the short walk away from the town centre to find this wonderful independent, cosy and very lively pub. And we were there on a Monday and Tuesday!!

Great pub, always welcoming. My mum has alzheimers but her and my dad are both regulars and feel safe there. Whenever my mum is struggling, a quick trip to the mitre always lifts her spirits.Gave 5 stars for food because there's an excellent array of snacks and they have rattler on tap!

Best pub in Buckingham by far! Great ales, great gins, lovely undercover garden and lots of space. Always made to feel welcome and the manager is a legend esp when he’s had a beer and gets on the piano! Also they show the big sports matches on several screens.
