There are half a dozen fish and chips outlets in the wider GX area but we always use this one, it's the best.Parking: Room for a few cars but always a free space.

Not impressed with the fish and chips at all! Fish was small, soggy and tasteless
Just moved to the area and thought we give this place a go. Consistency was a bit off, 1 of our fish was nice and crispy but the other had soggy batter. Portion sizes decent.

We keep trying this place hoping it’s just a one off when we’re disappointed but unfortunately it’s every time. Fish portions are unbelievably small it feels almost criminal paying the prices they’re charging compared to what you can get elsewhere (Amersham for example there is no comparison to size and quality). Chips were dry and looked old. The microwaved curry sauce was a big congealed lump with dry edges it really was unpleasant. Being the only chippy in the village we had been inclined to buy from here but we’re now happy to travel elsewhere. Such a shame.
