Have noticed this shop on the southern fringe of this lovely village before and was pleased to have chance to try it. I had a warm, friendly welcome and the chips were fresh and very good - will certainly call again when in the area (not often sadly!) PS Please wear your mask while COVID restrictions apply!
The local Beavers group were on a walk through the next village. We had arranged with Paul, (Chip Shop owner) to stop off before going back to the Guide hut for us all to have some lovely chips. Thankfully the weather was kind to us. Paul is always accomodating in those situations, I often stop there for my Fish and Chips, and that's because their lovely.

Traditional British fish and chips, hardly any wait, perfectly cooked food, friendly staff. Often the first port of call after work on a Friday or any other day when my daughter is hungry. For years I didn't eat fish and chips because I lived next to one which was not the best but these guys have put it back in the menu since we moved here.
