I visited during a business trip which I've done a number of times. The dark haired older lady (possibly in charge?) was rather rude, no greeting or smile. There were two people in front of me & whilst waiting I looked on my phone for the Nero App. She glared at me! Turned her back whilst speaking then tutted when I didn't answer. As I was paying a lady came to the counter & she (staff member) was all smiles & asking if she'dike her usual coffee.I said "wow, I didn't even get a hello". I was ignored.I must point out the two younger staff on today were excellent - I wish I had been served by them.I guess the moral of the visit is unless you live in Chesham, you aren't welcome.

Had great customer service here today and a very nice mocha. Upstairs felt a bit scruffy with tables not cleared - and it wasn't particularly busy.

Cafe Nero in Chesham is a gem of a cafe that offers a delightful experience with its perfect blend of excellent service and a range of seating options to cater to diverse preferences. During my recent visit, I was thoroughly impressed by several aspects of this establishment.First and foremost, Cafe Nero excels in the service department. The staff was not only friendly but also remarkably attentive and efficient when it came to taking and delivering orders. Their warm and welcoming approach added a layer of enjoyment to the overall cafe experience. One standout feature of this cafe is the availability of both upstairs and outside seating. This flexibility ensures that patrons can choose their preferred ambiance. Whether you're in the mood for some fresh air and people-watching outdoors or seeking a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere upstairs, Cafe Nero has you covered. The upstairs seating area, in particular, is conducive to those looking for a peaceful space to work, read, or engage in conversation without the hustle and bustle of the main floor.Additionally, Cafe Nero is not just about great coffee and seating options. It's also about convenience. The cafe has bathrooms on both floors, making it incredibly convenient for guests. You won't need to navigate through a crowded cafe to access the facilities. But that's not all; this cafe has yet another charming feature – it's dog-friendly! During my visit, I had the pleasure of seeing two adorable dogs happily enjoying their time with their owners at the cafe. This pet-friendly policy adds an extra layer of warmth and inclusivity to the cafe's atmosphere. For dog owners, this is a fantastic bonus, as it means you can bring your furry friend along while you savor your coffee or treat. It's heartening to see businesses that welcome pets, as it makes outings even more enjoyable for pet owners and their four-legged companions. In summary, Cafe Nero in Chesham has successfully created a welcoming and accommodating space for its customers. Whether you're looking for a quick coffee, a cozy spot to read, or a place to work, this cafe has you covered. With excellent service, a variety of seating options, convenience in the form of bathrooms on both floors, and a warm embrace of pets, it's a standout choice for both locals and visitors. I highly recommend giving it a try, whether you're accompanied by a laptop, a good book, or a furry friend!Kid-friendliness: Kids love it there. Have yummy cakes for them.

Regular visitor here. Always well stocked with sandwiches and sweet treats. Excellent, friendly staff. Lovely big window to watch the world go by through. Massive quiet upstairs area to find seating also. Big plus being dog friendly which the local Costa isn’t. The shop fixtures and fittings could do with a little TLC but otherwise wonderful.

Popped in for a lunchtime snack and partook of the offered El Salvador single origin coffee, which was great. Laid back relaxed atmosphere with great service from the team.

Caffè Nero is right in the centre of the town and good place to meet. Sitting area ground floor and first floor. Nice coffee .

A busy Sunday, and only one staff serving. She was doing a great job handling a long queue on her own.

The young man who served me was but a learner, however his customer service and coffee preparation skills were excellent.
