Lovely, local pub! Since the new owners have taken over the pub has been decorated and refreshed. The service is brilliant and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Something we didn’t used to get before. The menu has a good choice and food is second to none. Dog friendly and we are very pleased to have the crown back!

Wonderful quintessential English country pub. Atmosphere is welcoming and cosy with a nice log fire in the winter. Families and dogs welcome (especially during the day/weekend). Great selection of wine and beer/ales and lovely coffees and hot chocolate! Food is excellent value for money and hits the spot! Nothing fancy but good quality pub grub. The specials are more refined and well worth trying! Lovely village location with country walks in abundance and friendly locals

So nice to see this pub open again! We received a very warm welcome, had a lovely meal with our friends in a cosy atmosphere. It's a great pub to have a good meal, but as easily just to have a drink. They're dog friendly, too!Parking: There's plenty of parking outside & along the road.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps into the pub or restaurant.

Since the pub has re-opened, we have been in a few times for mid-week lunches and always enjoyed them. Today we went for a roast - jolly glad e did! V good and excellent value for money. So friendly. Definitely a new favourite on our list.

A nice friendly local pub That does a Sunday roast. We both had the beef. I thought it was only average not wow! I would come back tho.
My type of place. Nice vibe, sound of chatter, roaring fire, a few different ales available. Food decent, not pricey. All in all, pretty much perfect.

Always a nice place to go, friendly, welcoming, good choice of beers. Its good to go to a pub that doesn't blare out music that you don't need anyway so you can have a conversation a joke and a laugh without having to shout or just not hearing what's being said. Not many of these traditional pubs around anymore unfortunately, us oldies haven't got anywhere to go and spend our money of an evening anymore.
