We were blown away with the hospitality and great service!Came in without reservations for a quick bite. We were promptly seated and offered both the Christmas as the regular menu.We went for the Cod Cakes and Bangers & Mash and both were absolutely delicious! Our host told us their Sticky Toffee Pudding is a favourite and now we know why. Definitely one of the best Sticky Toffee Puddings we ever had.The pub was a former cottage and they managed to keep that cozy cottage feel....read full review
We havnt been here for a while and decided to try a late Sunday lunch - only slot we could get was 3 pm - fully expecting to get the dregs ! It was rammed - lunch was just great - roast beef not over cooked and food very hot - brilliant - the owner is the chef and the ladies serving are wonderful - Apparently they have 3 sittings on a Sunday - and serve 150 covers up till around 5pm - this is a very small pub 2 large log fires ! Just ordered a roast and a pudding from the white heart and I can honestly say it was absolutely delicious. Everything cooked to perfection. The way the food was packed. Thank you so much! I have a feeling I might be ordering from here every week. ?Vegetarian options: Na
