Pubs in Great Missenden

“Sunday roast followed with pudding, I'm a regular almost every Sunday. It's a plateful of flavour just like mum used to make. Definitely the most welcoming pub and I now call it my local.”

“Fantastic local pub, heaps of atmosphere, great individual rooms, nicely decorated, edgy. Friendly helpful staff. Kitchen/dining under renovation so only sampled a cake. I can’t wait to return on my holidays next year.”

“Sunday evening meal on 20th August, myself and a friend.A lovely old-fashioned pub, small and friendly. The staff are friendly and attentive. We had the roast lamb (from Sunday roast lunch menu) and the fish and chips. After eating out at various pubs in the Tring area, this was by far the best meal in terms of quality, taste, and portion size. Tasty tender lamb served with a Yorkshire pudding, thick-cut roast wedges, gravy, mint sauce, and a big dish of seasonal green veg. I struggled to finish it all. The fish was covered in crispy batter, and the chips were cooked 'properly'.Prices are reasonable too. Would definitely recommend, and will go back myself. We did a walk beforehand which was great too, lovely area to visit.”

“Really great food and amazing service. We went for lunch.Having a wood burner makes the atmosphere amazing and keeps you nice and toasty.Parking: There are a few spots right outside but it quickly fills up so you have to find street parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking right outside and can go straight into the pub without any steps”

“We loved it. We have had a couple of birthday dinners in the restaurant and in the pod, We love both experiences. Lovely staff, show my kids around including the open oven where their garlic bread was baked. She took her time to explain why it had a little burns on it as my youngest wouldn't eat it because of the black burns :/. He enjoyed the pizza though.”
