Sunday evening meal on 20th August, myself and a friend.A lovely old-fashioned pub, small and friendly. The staff are friendly and attentive. We had the roast lamb (from Sunday roast lunch menu) and the fish and chips.After eating out at various pubs in the Tring area, this was by far the best meal in terms of quality, taste, and portion size. There is something special about this family pub which feels like it's in the middle of nowhere. Been a few times and always seem to make really good friends easily. Very nice atmosphere and the food is brilliant too! But is very busy on the weekends and perfect stop off if coming through.
