I'm not sure if I visited on a bad night, but I was unimpressed this evening. There is another national chain of Italian restaurants just a few doors down, which offers better value for money.All of the staff were pleasant and appeared to be working hard. There was a large table upon entering which needed cleaning. This was still not cleaned or cleared after more than 30 minutes into our meal. We were here on August Bank Holiday Monday afternoon, there were enough people to create an atmosphere but not overly busy. The food was good but what I would like to concentrate on is the lady that was serving us. Sadly I didn't get her name. She seemed to be serving the whole restaurant by herself, no additional help that we saw. Average is probably the best word to describe this. But when you're paying nearly £100 for dinner for two adults and a child, i would definitely expect a little bit more. I found out my main course wasn't available about five minutes after ordering. Picked an alternative, but it was so small - 8/10 pieces of ravioli in a thin sauce for £16 i believe.
