I had been to the place before Covid and felt the food was alright. I then turned up last October on a Friday evening for Tea. And they randomly asked if I would like to buy the last Veg Thaali they had. Ever since I have been going all Fridays for the Veg Thaali. It comes with Rice and 6 sides of various veggies, all of them yummy. It’s more than worth the 8£. Have had Pittu, chicken and fish curry. All of them are tasty. Good for the spicy pallet. Also their rolls are tasty.
I tried Lamprais for the first time here which is one of the much sought after delicacies and is not served by many restaurants here. It was a scrumptious treat wrapped in banana leaves that came with a generous portion of chicken and a massive serving of rice. I would give four stars in terms of spice, flavour and authenticity.
