After a long time the pub re-opened on Monday, we were here this Friday evening. It's kept the same layout from several previous ownership. Fire burning, music playing in the background, just at the right level not to overpower conversations. No drinks on tap yet. I didn't ask about food. It was my wife's first visit. She preferred this out of the 3 pubs we visited tonight.
Thoroughly nice little pub. Amazing garden area, but little in the way of custom.Perfect for a quiet drink, but I don't think the pub will still be there by Christmas as there's so little custom. Suggest the owner invest some time in social media marketing to get more punters in.

Nice old style pub. Went in for a pint before football and was so good we returned again later in the evening. Timothy Taylor’s Landlord Dark ale on draught was delicious.Great atmosphere when filled up in the evening. Cosy with a selection of games to play.Will visit again!
