The Old School House

Our first visit to The Old School House and we were not dissapointed.
The food was tasty and hot.
Friendly and good service from Emma, Emma and Jack.
Nice atmosphere and we will definitely visit again when next in the area. Thankyou.

Well worth tge money

Had the lunchtime sandwich, fries and drink deal for 8 quid. Really good value and the food was pretty decent. The bar staff were really polite and attentive. Would definitely go again. Recommend it!

The staff were friendly. The lady who asked for our food was nice. The food was disgusting. My salad looked like someone had regurgitated it. There was no finesse even for a bistro pub. The roast looked microwaved and the veg was over cooked. The kids food looked sparce and we didn’t get our nachos untill our mains came out and they looked like they could have been made within 2 mins. As a family I won’t ever come here again. It’s for old folks from the 90’s who want a beer. Or …. The football crowd Not modern families who want decent bistro pub food. Sorry - We still paid for drinks and some of the food we didn’t even eat. They should have offered us everything for free. They need a new chef. Big shame.

Just happened to be passing through Stony Stratford recently and looking for a meal stop we spotted The Old School House. A very varied menu with several vegetarian options. The restaurant was spotlessly clean and the staff were very friendly. The quality of the food was superb and served in a timely manner. If we lived even remotely close to the village we would be frequent visitors here. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Vegetarian options: We had the vegetarian breakfast that consisted of scrambled eggs, two delicious veggie sausages, toast, tomato and hash browns.

Parking: Plenty of on street parking close by
