Hatties is a privately owned shop that serves an amazing array of freshly prepared sandwiches, baps and baguettes as well as soups, sausage rolls, croissants etc. It shuts at 2pm so get there early - not to be missed.
I am a local and regular customer in Hattie’s as I can’t resist their lattes, freshly made sandwiches & delicious homemade cakes (especially the brownies!) I moved to Bassingbourn about a year ago and didn’t know anybody from the area or nearby - Hattie’s really made me feel at home & I’m so pleased we have somewhere like this in our village!

I had a lovely experience here. Sandwiches and baguettes were lovely. Well filled with fresh salad. Iced latte was lovely and there’s a good selection of cakes. Ladies were very pleasant and made helpful suggestions. If I lived in the area I would happily come here regularly.
