“It was wet & windy outside, and we were ready for lunch! Lovely selection of hot & cold sandwiches, jacket spuds and soups, along with cakes and pastries. Hot & cold drinks too. We had toasties and soup, and all 3 of us wanted tea so she offered a big teapot - yes please! All the food was fresh, tasty, and good value. A little dog that had been lying quietly by mummy's feet got excited when daddy stood up, and started barking, but was so cute everybody smiled. So daddy waved his paw to say thank you and goodbye. You won't get that in Sta... certain chain coffee shops! All hail our independent, local small businesses!Btw the Google photo is of the other side of the road! Look out for the red awning.”

“We came to Ely and stayed for a few days and one of the highlights we had was we visited Peacocks Tearoom. I ordered the Earl Grey tea and it was lovely, it was a loose tea that we could pour ourselves and it was a lovely break from the cold wintery weather. It is very popular here so if you're wanting a seat, come here early.”

“Love it here, always nice coffee and food. The cakes are amazing! Small setting and can get busy midday and quite loud. However there is some sheltered outside seating. Parking right nearby, however lots of elec car spaces.Kid-friendliness: Outside garden, spotlessly clean toilet.Wheelchair accessibility: All on one level and touch button doors.”

“The M and S Food on site is very convenient. It sells good quality fresh food which is ideal when you are in need of a quick meal after a long day at work. Not a cheap place to shop, but always reliable and fresh. The staff are always very polite too.”
