“Possibly one of my favourite cafés I have ever visited. Really friendly staff, lovely food, and such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The decor is both homely and quirky at the same time with great music being played on the record player. Thoroughly recommend a visit - I’ll definitely be coming back!”

“The Yard is becoming our favourite place to eat/drink in Ely! The food is always amazing, there is always lots of Vegan options available and the Gluten free options are second to none! The staff are absolutely lovely! I think this place is probably the most dog friendly in the area, even having blankets for your dog to use. We keep bringing friends and family to show them what a great place it is, whether you’re there for a coffee, beer, lunch or dinner, The Yard really does have it all!”

“What a lovely little tea room! Each customer given personal attention by the manageress and served with a smile by the waitresses. Whilst not spacious downstairs each table is positioned to allow some privacy and there are more tables in an upstairs room. The food was very good and the choice between typical greasy spoon and homemade quiches and cakes was difficult. They cater for vegetarians/ vegans and gluten free too. Overall an excellent stop for breakfast brunch and afternoon teas. Thank you very much ladies!”

“Absolutely amazing service everytime, a calm clean friendly environment, attracting all walks of life, great to hold small casual meetings, personal work space, and just to unwind with a nice drink/food, the staff are always so friendly and helpful, remembering drinks ordered often, and helping through new menu options, Max and Kayleigh especially are outstanding, great job all round!!”
