Really great jacket potato and curry and friendly staff as always.

Good food, good prices. Staff always seem busy so hard to get hold of them when you're after something, but service was quick.

This lovely tea room has indoor seating but also has seats outdoors at the back looking onto the cathedral. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. Our food was freshly prepared and tasty. Would definitely go back.

Excellent tea room with quirky upstairs. Friendly staff with good service, even at lunch time. Delicious food, the breakfast scone is inspired. Highly recommend.

Pleasant location and friendly staff. The charcuterie platter was really poor. Baguette soft and tasteless. Ham tasted unpleasant. Tiny pork pie inedible. The cheese was just okay. The grapes were good.

Stopped here for lunch with friends. Food was ok, but nothing special. Sitting upstairs was light and bright, but not much atmosphere when we went. Pleasant staff here and reasonably priced.

Stopped by after having watched the coronation at the Cathedral for the coronation afternoon tea special. We were firstly welcomed and served with poor manners by a young girl and instantly felt unsure about how the lunch would go. Firstly, the wrong dish arrived when we also ordered jacket potato but was instead given tuna sandwiches to which it was then returned. Then, we didn’t receive the fizz that was suppose to come with the lunch and had to ask it to be deducted from the bill. The young girl left so quickly after asking what we wanted that she did not serve us with patience or consideration of our wants. Additionally, the food served claimed to be fresh, but the scones were rather dry and the cream seemed off. Disappointed to say the least, but you win some you lose some. Price was OK, location is good, the place itself is a little dated but quaint.

Really great food and drink. Lovely staff, spotless tables. Can heartily recommend the cheese and chorizo sandwich.

Rudely scolded by staff that NO DOGS ARE ALLOWED as I entered with my Pug. We were offered an outside space, which the placard outside proudly declares has 'cathedral views'. It does. Alongside the bins of the neighbouring restaurants, complete with spotty cheap table and chairs. Weird and totally uneccasary. Don't go.
This cosy spot is great for an affordable lunch out! Great quick food, nice cakes and friendly staff!

A nice cafe, with a decent selection of food (soup and a toastie on a cold day is fantastic!) but as with so many places in Ely it's not open long enough and I usually miss its opening hours sadly. On a nice summer day I highly recommend sitting on Steeple Row out the back looking on to Ely Cathedral and enjoying some food or a drink from here.

Called in for lunch on a day out in Ely. It’s a cosy place with plenty of tables. Staff were pleasant. Had a very nice baked potato, which came with a small side salad. The one negative was the very sticky table. Cups and saucers, plates etc were difficult to move around and it felt rather unpleasant. The building itself is full of character, lovely and quaint with sloping floor upstairs. A great place to have a tea room, nice surrounding views.

Lat year, I spotted an ad for Julia's Mother's Day High tea. I ordered one for delivery to my mother. She was delighted and commented that the delivery driver was lovely too. So this year, I thought this has to be the gift. Delicious again, and the same price as last year. Again my mother was delighted, and my brother who was visiting said the food was fabulous. Next time we are down in Ely, we plan on sampling In house. Great service and food. Pretty good value too!
