My friend and I visited on a Friday evening. We were given the warmest of welcomes by all the staff, were seated in a lovely position and served drinks straight away. Our orders were taken promptly and the food was brought out in great time. The meal was divine and the restaurant is beautiful. It was simply an all-round enjoyable evening out and we'll be returning very soon with more of our friends. I highly recommend for a truly authentic Indian experience.

From the start it was an awful experience! Table wasn't ready, told to come back in 10 minutes. We came back 15 minutes and still not ready so the owner moved a couple off a table so we could be seated. It was so embarrassing ! The tables were just thrown together, I imagine to just get as many people in there as possible. We got moved to another table whilst waiting 30 minutes just to get a drink. One house later to managed to nab a waiter to place our order. When it came, part was cold and the owner stood in front of us and yelled! He then shouted at a waiter, in front of us. It was terrible and so unprofessional! It really upset and we couldn't wait to get out. There's are MUCH better Indian restaurants in Ely!!!

We visited the Tuesday Banquet and it was fantastic, pretty much everything on the menu could be chosen with a £3 surcharge for prawns or fish as I recall, The banquet included two poppadoms each with the pickle tray, had a mixed starter with both meat and bhajis all of which were superb, I chose a pathia with mushroom rice and had a naan instead of a side and everything was super tasty and cooked to perfection. They have a very good IPA on tap called Bombay Bicycle which was a new one to me and washed the curry down perfectly. On top of great food the staff are all very friendly and efficient, you cant really ask for more for £15

Absolutely lovely meal. One of the best Indian meals we’ve had in a long time. Service was good and owner very friendly and helpful. We hope to go back when we next visit Ely.

Bought a curry online, to be ready at a certain time. Not only was it only half a curry, it was clearly made there and then and left to go cold.
Ordered a curry on line and literally got half a portion. Guy on phone not particularly bothered. Not really that great to be honest

An absolute gem, the best Indian not only in Ely - but also the best we have had in a while. There is so much flavour and even the vegetarian dishes have lovely spice and flavour (which is not always the case in all restaurants, I find.) The staff are all nice and kind, the atmosphere is pleasant. We have been on several occasions, both dine-in and takeaway/collection and have not been disappointed. Tonight we enjoyed the Tuesday special and got to have a ridiculous amount of delicious food for a very good price - well worth a visit!

We have been coming to Le Spice as our restaurant of choice in Ely for many years. The owner is so friendly and welcoming and the food is amazing. Tuesday night’s buffet is superb value for money. There are a large number of regulars which says how high the standard of food and service are. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for a curry.
