Enormous portions, the batter was ridiculously crispy and the cod was perfectly flaky. The grilled halloumi was incredible.First time customer last night, now a regular customer if that's the standard of food. Just excellent.
Have been holding back as every time I find good local fish and chips the standard drops. Tonight however I just had to share the fish and chips at the Rumbles Fish Bar Godmanchester. Consistently excellent with great service although it can be a wait if you go too early and it gets crowded. Chips are crisp with good flavour and the fish is enormous as standard crispy batter and good flavour too. Food is always good, service with a smile. Friendly and efficient.The atmosphere is that of a standard fish and chip takeout, not where I personally would want to sit and eat a meal.
