“Lovely Gastropub with a surprisingly elaborate menu that seems to change pretty often, which I think is great.
Great service, the food was excellent and the place is very pretty. Not much else to say, recommended.”

“Great food, brilliant atmosphere, good service, all in a great location! And the price was good too.
It's rare you walk away from a place so contended. Although we live far away, if we're ever through that way again we will definitely visit again.
No hesitation in recommending”

“I remember when this place used to be called the Harrier. My mum used to work there in the late 70s, early 80s. It used to be a fabulous pub, then it was turned into an Indian restaurant. That closed down after lack of use, and is now reopened. It’s nice to see the old place open again.”

“Lovely place, feels like you're in the middle of nowhere bit within 5 minutes of driving you reach a Tesco (I'm from Yorkshire, I'm easy to please, what can I say). The staff are all really friendly and happy to help, the rooms are beautiful as is the bar and restaurant. My only gripe is the breakfast, which was a muffin, croissant and cereal, in my room.”
