Pubs • “Now Blackrock Steak restaurantGreat customer service, all staff very pleasant. The steak was lovely, plenty of side dishes come as standard, chips onion rings tomatoes side dishes. I ordered sirloin with prawns as optional extra with blue cheese sauce. Give it a try, won't be disappointed, definitely 5star”
Pubs • “First visit this evening. Meal was hot and tasty. My husband could have eaten a 4th sausage - they were of a good quality. Good to have a menu that had veg instead of the usual chips and peas. Will visit again.Parking: Parking available on site”
Pubs • “Had a bit of trouble finding it, and if it hadn't been for a bloke outside smoking I would have thought it was shut. Traditional back street local. Grown men playing Top Trumps. Small child playing Scrabble.”
Pubs • “Stayed at The Hippodrome for 2 nights while visiting Air Show at nearby Royal Air Force Base.Lovely hotel room, well furnished, very clean and tidy and well laid out with very comfortable bed and great shower.Good breakfast and breakfast menu choice as usual for Wetherspoons.Good service by friendly and very efficient staff. We will be back.Ray & Pam Dumbleton.”
