Joe and Ellie are amazing publicans super friendly and so welcoming to everyone. Always chatty and passionate about their pub and its drinks and food always adding new dishes. Easily sit next to the log burn all afternoon drinking wine and chatting with friends and Joe and Ellie.
Gorgeous gem of a pub. Beautifully done tapas share plates (super baked camembert in the photo was today's special), good draught bitter, nicely lit, dog friendly. But the best thing was the service - by people with the time and enthusiasm to make a pub really great. Real pubs are run by people who care, like this.
