Food was absolutely superb, presentation beautiful, service fantastic - smiley staff, very efficient and staff who cared about their guests and knew how to serve!Every time we visit The Red Lion whether it be lunchtime, evenings, weekdays or weekends it is always buzzing, everyone is having a great time, enjoying superb food from a great menu. They cater thoughtfully for all their guests.”
Bar • “My partner and I love this place, Georgia and Paul are the perfect hosts and always give 110% customer service, nothing is too much trouble and will always go above and beyond to ensure the customer is happy. Lovely location and the Alpacas are a lovely treat to see when sitting in the garden with a cider!”

Bar • “first time trying the banyan tree due to a recommendation.i love to try new dishes everywhere i go. i asked the waiter, who was also the owner, what he would recommend. i can’t remember the name of the dish but it was lamb with caramelised onions, and it did not disappoint! the tastiest lamb curry i have ever tasted - and i have tasted a fair few!the service was incredible too - so polite and friendly. will definitely be back.”
“This place was awesome with the food, drinks, and very nice atmosphere.However, we went back on a Sunday and was literally yelled at that they were taking no more walk-ins and that they don't do takeaway.We were there an hour and a half before closing on a Sunday and understood the reason, but felt that we didn't need to be yelled at that they could not accommodate us at that particular time and that they don't do take away.We left very sad and somewhat upset. More than likely, I will not recommend going here, especially on a Sunday with a booking in advance.”
