Cozy little rustic pub with old character. I've been a few times and was never disappointed. Most recently I went on my birthday with my family, they set us up in the dining area with a nice big private table and we couldn't ask for more from the staff, they were so friendly, welcomming and helpful. The food was also amazing, its upscale pub food and so tasty. Also I've had the roast dinners and their pies before and I would highly recommend them. Great lunchtime visit. The food was lovely, I had mackerel pate for starters, then roast belly pork. My husband had roasted tomato soup and then chicken, all well cooked and hot. Good selection of drink available. The seating is well laid out, not too close, comfortable and the decor is lovely, very peaceful and relaxing. Would highly recommend to all.
