Portuguese/English cafe with traditional food as well an English breakfast and bacon butties. A quick bite of chilli con carne with crispy chips on a cold day made things right again. ? Coffee is lovely & I chose the non alcoholic Irish syrup add-on. Staff are busy yet friendly. Always willing to help with an order if something needs changing (if it’s available). Delicious cakes. The best Chilli loaded fries I’ve ever had, visiting from Cornwall and the care and effort that goes into the food is unreal- like double layered chilli fries who even thinks to put a layer of fries a layer of chilli then cheese and then another layer of fries and chilli. THE BEST! My daughter is a cheesey chip connoisseur an hers were also double layered and cheese on the bottom. Fabulous little cafe run by the most lovely Portuguese family. We are regulars and always receive a warm welcome. The cafe is very reasonably priced and the rustic bacon rolls and coffee are the best. Theresa knows exactly how to cook our bacon ! The cakes are varied and the Portuguese nata's and custard doughnuts are particularly good. Give it a go, you won't be dissapointed.
